Task:
As a budding travel agent, you have a longing to find out as much as you can about Shakespeare's London. In your desire for first hand information for your clients, you decide to take a 10 day trip to London in order to visit the New Globe Theater. You will need to find out how much plane tickets cost, what it costs to stay in London for 10 days, and how much spending money you will need for meals as well as taking in the sites including tickets to a performance to one of Shakespeare's plays at the Globe. You will also need to know a little bit about the New Globe Theatre since you will be giving them a personal tour before the play. Determine the total amount of dollars you will need (don't forget the exchange rate!). Once you have your information, determine your own itinerary, and decide what things are optional.
Format:
1. Powerpoint presentation: a slide or two representing each travel day, plus an introduction, and a concluding slide giving the overall travel costs. ***Pick up some brochures at a travel agency for ideas. Don't forget your research on the Globe.
2. Posterboards: miniature version of powerpoint. Multiple days can be represented on one posterboard. Entire ten day trip will not fit on one posterboard. Page handouts for overall trip cost and The New Globe Theatre info. Could include some form of a brochure.
