Student Opinion--NYTimes: The New York Times provides many engaging activities through the Learning Network part of their website. Activities include a word of the day, crossword, questions about the news, and a student opinion section which invites them to post their own opinion about various topics. In order to prepare the students for the wide variety of subjects that can be brought up on the AP English Language and Composition exam, students will be asked to respond to a number of these Student Opinion questions. You can access this section of NYTimes.com by clicking HERE. Again, students without internet access can use the school's computers before or after school or see me for each day's student opinion question.
